The new Medicare ruling that passed for the mental health industry? What you may or may not know, is that Medicare is the largest health care program in the country and they just made history. For the first time, with an effective date of January 1st, 2024, they are opening up their credentialing doors to allow Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC's) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT's) to contract with Medicare Part B.
THIS IS A GAME CHANGER!!!!!! And opens up the doors for LPC's and LMFT's to grow their network.
